The rhinoplasty process

   Preliminary consultation

   Same day – a few days

   You send your front and side photos on WhatsApp. The patient coordinator contacts you; the doctor’s preliminary assessment and a roadmap are shared.

2. 2

   Examination and planning

   Day of examination

   All parts of the nose are examined and photographs are taken from at least seven angles. Your expectations are discussed; risks, benefits and points to observe are explained. If needed, a second consultation is held.

3. 3

   Surgery

   Surgery day

   The surgery is performed at Medical Park Antalya Hospital and takes 3–4 hours on average. Most patients are discharged after 6–7 hours.

   First week

   Days 1 – 7

   A period of rest, sleeping on a high pillow, not lifting heavy objects and protecting the nose. Stools may be dark on the day of surgery and the day after; you can reach the team with any questions.

5. 5

   Follow-ups

   Week 1 – month 2

   Recovery is monitored with regular check-ups. Return to daily life takes between one week and two months, depending on the person.

6. 6

   After 1 year

   Month 6 – year 1

   The nose fully settles between six months and one year. The result is assessed together at the one-year check-up.
